Arthur Bay
Arthur Bay is one of Magnetic Island’s most secluded beaches – perfect for those looking for an extra quiet getaway.
Tucked away on the north-east corner of Magnetic Island, you’ll find Arthur Bay just a short trek from the impressive Forts Walk.
This stunning and serene bay is surrounded by granite boulders and hoop pines, and is revered by couples, families and all-round sun-lovers.
Swim, Paddle, Snorkel, or simply unwind on the beach.
A trip to Arthur Bay will find you in a mini paradise that feels almost untouched thanks to its sheltered nature.
Make sure you bring your snorkelling gear, because Arthur Bay features some of most beautiful coral close to shore. This is great for families – kids can get in on the action and check out the marine life that is almost at their fingertips.
If you visit during the rainy season, there is the bonus feature of natural pools, which are lovely to sit in as the waterfalls wash away any stress you may be holding onto.
There is a great balance of shady and sunny spots at Arthur Bay, and with only one house (The Beach House, available for holiday rental) and one 4×4 accessible road, you’ll find the lack of crowds very relaxing.
