Australia Day at Alma Bay
Saturday 26th January
9am to 4pm
There is the BBO and bangers BBQ, face painting, treasure hunt, tug of war, fastest man on the sand, and the inflatable thong race. The beer garden is open from midday.
Saturday 26 January
Family friendly fun day at Nelly Bay Marina. There is a bouncing castle on the deck from 11.30 am to 2.30pm, kids activities with Jo, the kids club ambassador, and a special lunch menu for the day.
Saturday 26th January and Sunday 27th January
There are lots of great specials and deals throughout Saturday and Sunday including the burger and great northern beer jug deal for just $25. Relax and chill.
Party at the picnic bay hotel with live music with band Zero Patience from 7pm to 11pm on Saturday. On Sunday 27th Jan there is Triple J Hottest 100 and games and on Monday 28th Jan there is the Triple J Hottest 200.
The Island Bar, Nelly Bar
“Washed up” happens on Sunday 27 January. The Easy Club and Base plan the hottest 100 from Triple J from 12noon followed by music from 2pm to late. Local DJs are poolside from 2pm to 8pm. Be there for the thong throwing competitions, volleyball, hotdog eating comp, and food and ice cold drinks all day.
