On the stunning northern side of Magnetic Island, Horseshoe Bay is a popular spot for water sports, swimming and family activities.
Once you arrive on Magnetic Island, Horseshoe Bay can be found on the north-east side of the island, and can be reached by bus or taxi from the ferry terminal. You may choose to bring your car across on the car ferry for easy access around the island. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can attempt the 7.1km walk from Nelly Bay to Horseshoe Bay – which should take approximately an hour and a half. Horseshoe Bay is well equipped with useful amenities such as car parking, public toilets and ATMs.

- Bus – The line 250 bus from the Ferry Terminal Stop 2 to Pacific Drive at Horseshoe Bay
- Drive – Hire a car from one of Magnetic Island’s Hire Car companies and drive
- Take the scenic route and take the walk from Nelly Bay
